Daniel Smelansky (he/him) is a designer and artist. He was born in Belarus, immigrated to the United States when he was two years old, and grew up in and around Boston.
He works across mediums including graphic design, photography, and sculpture. He’s focused on honing the power of process and ritual in his practice to derive joy, work through anxieties, and to feel human. He has an interest in speculative design and believes in our collective ability to shape the future. He received his BFA in Industrial Design from MassArt in 2019.
Ideally he’d like to be near a large body of freshwater with a medium sized dog and a few cats.
